Davis Velocity Cal Cup

Davis Velocity U-14 girls team had a great weekend in Cal Cup as they played Santa Rosa in the finals.  Velocity competed in the premier Division which had 3 top ranked teams in our bracket as well as a team from Southern California.  We won three games and lost 1 to move on to the finals.  While we came in second it was a hard fought game.  It was an entire team effort and their fitness, character, and determination where a huge part of their success throughout the weekend.  It was a great accomplishment to win premier in the Nor Cal spring league and then to turn around and play in the finals of the premier bracket in Cal Cup.  Velocity's next tournament will be the Davis Showcase in July.
