Gunners a Perfect 10

The Legacy Gunners U13 boys comp team started their year with a perfect 10-0 spring season, outscoring their opponents 42 to 8.  The Gunners’ balanced offense included goals by eleven different players.  Strikers Joe Rainer and Jesse Hopp combined for 18 goals and 12 assists.  Alex McIntyre, Ben Stahl and Karch Miller added another 13 goals and 4 assists.  Midfielders Dylan Klein, Daniel Moncada, Aaron Garcia, Ian Miramontes, Javier Mendoza and Andrew Michelmore distributed 18 assists and scored 9 goals.  The Gunners’ solid defense included left back Otto Nichols, who was rarely beaten this spring, right backs Will Stukas and Ani Ramakrishnan, who both also shared time at midfield, stopper Brian Birt, sweeper Emmett Barnes and goalkeeper Jesus Gutierrez.
